About

The Scottish Events Campus (SEC) is located a short distance from Glasgow city centre spanning 22,00sqm. With excellent transport links, the venue is just 8 miles (or 13km) from Glasgow Airport (GLA) which serves most international airlines and has direct routes from multiple countries across the world. Prestwick airport is 32 miles (or 51 km) from the SEC and Edinburgh airport is 39 miles (63km) away. 

How to get there

The SEC can be reached using a range of transport options, including by rail and bus, from Glasgow city centre.  The venue is served well by multiple public transport routes.

If you’re using rail or private transportation, we highly recommend booking your transport in advance.

From Glasgow Airport:

·       the Glasgow Airport Express (500) is a bus service to Glasgow city centre which runs every 10 minutes, 24 hours a day and takes around 25 minutes

From Prestwick Airport:

·       the journey to Glasgow Central Station takes around 40 minutes and run until midnight

From Edinburgh Airport:

·       the City Link Air 900 bus route will take around 1-hour minutes to get to Glasgow city centre

From Glasgow City Centre:

·       by train, the journey will take 3 minutes from Glasgow Central Station

·       by car or taxi will take 10 minutes

·       the Glasgow subway will take around 15 minutes from St Enoch Station to the campus
