Event Registration


Where and when does the event take place?

VisitScotland Connect 2026 will take place at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) in Glasgow on 15 and 16 April 2026.  

The event timings will be:

  • Wednesday 15 April 2026 from 9am - 5pm
  • Thursday 16 April 2026 from 9am - 4pm 

How do I register?



Please submit your registration on our website. Registration opens in September 2025. Your previous credentials will have expired, so please register with a new username and password. Spaces are limited and subject to VisitScotland approval. 

Fill in the registration form and your attendance will be approved by our market teams if you meet the participation criteria - detailed in the 'Who is this event for?' section. 


Who is this event for?

Travel intermediaries such as tour operators, wholesalers, travel agents, travel advisors and DMCs can register their interest to attend. The event is intended for those in product developer and contractor positions.

Developing sustainable tourism is an integral focus of VisitScotland and our flagship tradeshow, VisitScotland Connect 2026. Therefore, we require intermediaries (buyers) to demonstrate their responsible approach to programme development in Scotland. In their application, buyers should demonstrate potential for programme development in 2027/2028 and beyond, with intent to align with Scotland’s tourism ambitions, including, but not limited to:

  • delivering positive geographic spread
  • delivering positive seasonal spread
  • delivering inclusive travel, slow travel and immersive experiences
  • maximising benefits of tourism for host communities and the environment.

Buyer spaces are limited and registrations are subject to VisitScotland approval.


Who will I meet at this event?

Scottish tourism businesses that are offering a tourism product that can be contracted at trade rates. Approved suppliers will either be based in Scotland or have Scottish office. 

Suppliers will be seated at numbered meeting tables and buyers will move around the room to join their one-to-one meetings. 

How much does it cost to attend?

There is no registration fee for buyers to attend VisitScotland Connect 2026. 


Who covers the costs for travel to Scotland to attend VisitScotland Connect?

Travel to and from Scotland and the event as well as any associated costs must be borne by the attendee and are not covered by VisitScotland.

What if I don't qualify to attend?

You can schedule a meeting with your respective VisitScotland Market Development Manager to discuss your needs and further support.

Event Days & Meeting Schedules

My event registration was approved. What should I do next?

Meeting diaries will open in February 2026. You will be sent a link to buyer portal where you can request one-to-one meetings with Scottish suppliers. Please keep up to date with e-mails received from connect@eventsair.visitscotland.com to ensure you are aware of all reminders and actions. 

You can download the latest supplier attendee list via the Actions tab in buyer portal. The list will be frequently updated as we approach the event date.


Can I meet someone from the VisitScotland Market Team during the event?

We recommend buyers use their time to prioritise meetings with Scottish suppliers but if you'd like to connect with the VisitScotland Market Team, please discuss this with your VisitScotland contact in advance.

How many meeting diaries are there?

One meeting diary per buyer.  


Will you offer familiarisation (fam) trips to buyers and how can I take part in this?


Yes, as part of VisitScotland Connect 2026 a fam trip programme will be offered to eligible buyers. Buyer spaces are limited and participation in fam trips is subject to VisitScotland approval. 

How long is one meeting?

Each meeting is scheduled to last 12 minutes.  There will be additional meeting slots available for unscheduled appointments. Breaks will also be built into the event schedule. The event programme will be made available closer to the event date.


Will there be an Event Dinner I can take part in?

Yes, as part of VisitScotland Connect 2026 there will be an event dinner on Wednesday 15 April. Details will be shared in our event programme communications closer to the event.

How do I schedule a meeting?

Both buyers and Scottish suppliers can request meetings via their respective event portals. VisitScotland Connect 2026 is a workshop style event and we recommend arriving at the SEC with a full diary of pre-arranged meetings.


Can buyers meet with other buyers?

We recommend that buyers use meeting slots to connect with Scottish suppliers and network with other buyers during break times.

How many meetings should I book?

We recommend that you aim to book a full diary of meetings on both event days. There will be 46 appointments available in total including unscheduled appointments.   


Will there be Wi-Fi?

There will be access to free public Wi-Fi at the venue.

Will there be additional time for unscheduled meetings?

A few unscheduled appointment opportunities will be available throughout the workshop days. During  these unscheduled meeting time slots, you can meet with suppliers at their meeting table on a first come first served basis without prior arrangements. You will not be able to pre-book these meetings.

Breaks have been included throughout the event for your comfort. 


What additional information will be available as part of this event?

The event app will be launched in March 2026, in the lead up to the event.
