With 25+ years of experience working in Scottish sport, culture, tourism, and events, Torquil now lead’s VisitScotland’s industry engagement and business support activity for events.  This activity includes a year-round programme of industry workshops, webinars, and observer tours, plus programming of Scotland’s National Events Conference.  It also includes development of the events content hosted on VisitScotland’s online Business Support Hub.  In addition, Torquil coordinates Scotland’s Events Industry Advisory Group and associated Sub-groups, with supporting oversight for Scotland’s National Events Strategy and Action Plan.
