Suzi Maciver has been working with Renfrewshire Council as Creative Events Lead since January 2017 developing and programming the region’s annual event portfolio including Paisley Food & Drink Festival, Paisley Halloween Festival, Sma’ Shot Day and Christmas events; and supporting major visitor events such as Scotland’s premiere Gaelic festival the Royal National Mòd (Mòd Phàislig) 2023, the UK premiere of sound and light show About Us as part of Unboxed 2022 and the short listing of Paisley’s bid for UK City of Culture 2021.

Suzi also works as Producer for Seachdain na Gàidhlig | World Gaelic Week, since 2023.  

Suzi previously led arts and cultural development for Scottish Refugee Council and produced Refugee Festival Scotland; and worked as a producer for a range of arts organisations such as Ankur Arts Productions, The Arches Glasgow, and the MAC in Belfast.
