Dougie Brown has worked for over 20 years across the entertainment industry in live music, festivals and artist management.  

He has carried out many roles from Marketing, Production Management, Programming, Artist Liaison and Event Management throughout his career including working in a freelance capacity across numerous festivals, Rock Ness, Loopallu, Wickerman, Xponorth, Groove Loch Ness, Groove Cairngorm, The Tall Ships and Inverness (1,000 capacity) live music venue The Ironworks. 

In 2018 he took up the role of Event Producer for Scotland’s largest family friendly music & arts festival, Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival (24,500 cap), having worked in a freelance capacity on the event since it’s second year in 2005. The following year 2019, saw the launch of The Gathering Festival (5,000 cap) - a one day event in Inverness celebrating of the very best  traditional/folk music, culture, food & drink from the Highlands & Scotland. 

Alongside these roles, he also runs Into the Light management which specialises in artist management services.
