A Lecturer in Sport Management at the University of Stirling, Scotland’s University of Sporting Excellence, with an extensive professional background supporting a wide range of major international sporting events. These include local, regional, and national championships, as well as various mass participation events and major events such as the British Championships, Commonwealth Games, European Championships, European Games, World Championships, UEFA events, Special Olympics, and Islamic Solidarity Games.

Passionate about inspiring the next generation of events professionals, I’m on the Practitioner Board with Centre for Events & Festivals, the world’s first international professional body to support the professional development and recognition of everyone working across the global events industry. In addition, I established the International Events Symposium, a free-to-attend educational event delivered to over 350 students and events professionals annually, with contributions from a wide range of senior event industry experts.
