Andy Dunlop is a live event professional with over two decades of experience delivering large-scale tours, concerts and festivals across the UK, Europe, and the USA. As Head of Concert Operations at DF Concerts, he oversees the delivery of more than 1,000 shows each year, from intimate 100-capacity club gigs to full-scale national stadium events. Andy works closely with artists, production teams, venues, and statutory authorities to manage everything from site builds and scheduling to crowd safety and licensing. Driven by a passion for creating safe, efficient, and unforgettable live experiences - and a commitment to bridging the gap between education and the industry - he offers valuable insight into what it takes to bring live events to life behind the scenes.

Andy also developed and leads the DF Concerts Academy, an initiative focused on inspiring, developing and empowering the next generation of live event professionals through real-world industry learning. The Academy connects education with employment while also sharing gold-standard practice across the live events sector - supporting skills development for students, schools, venues, event partners and wider industry stakeholders.
