VisitScotland Connect 2026 I 15-16 April I SEC, Glasgow

VisitScotland Connect 2026 offers the opportunity to connect international and UK-based travel intermediaries (buyers) with Scottish tourism businesses (suppliers) who are working with the travel trade. This is Scotland’s flagship trade event intended for buyers who are developing programmes and contracting new products for sale in UK and international markets in 2026 and beyond. 

Please note that by completing this registration form, you are applying to participate in the event and are not guaranteed a place at VisitScotland Connect 2026. All Buyer applications are subject to approval by VisitScotland. Your place is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email from VisitScotland.

Please apply to participate in VisitScotland Connect 2026 by creating a new account. Credentials from other VisitScotland events will not be recognised.

You have rights with regard to how your personal data is processed. Information about those rights is in our Privacy Centre.

Privacy notice for VisitScotland Connect:

  • You are giving your personal data to VisitScotland as the data controller, for the purpose of registering and administering your possible attendance at VisitScotland Connect. This will include publishing your contact details (first name, last name, company name, business address, job title, website and email address) in the digital event programme, the Meeting Diary, the event app and buyer database, and communicating with you about opportunities offered by Scottish tourism.  If we want to use the information you provide for a different purpose, we will inform you before doing so.
  • You are also being asked to provide your name, email address and select your own password for registration setup.  In addition, you will be asked to provide any information you think we should know about in terms of dietary or access requirements during the event and, optionally, your social media account username or handle. If you opt to use the event app, you will also be encouraged to share an image of your face.
  • Photographs and video may be taken at the event; if you do not wish to be photographed or filmed please inform VisitScotland staff at the event.  
  • If you do not provide the information requested, we will not be able to fully administer your registration.
  • Your personal data will be processed using specialist system providers contracted to VisitScotland: Microsoft and Centium.
  • Your personal data will be held for one year and will then be securely deleted. Dietary and access requirement data will be deleted one month after the conclusion of the event. 
  • The lawful reason for processing your information is that it is necessary steps to enter into a contract between us to register and administer your attendance.  We will use your name and email address to send you a post event survey to seek your feedback on the event and for event evaluation purposes. We will also use the same details to send you relevant information about tourism in Scotland based on your consent and preferences. 
  • Your personal data will be processed in the UK and within the EEA.
