Please be aware that the number of nominations received per nominee will not be taken into consideration by our judging panel. 

Remember, you don’t need to have been nominated to enter the Scottish Thistle Awards. If you want to apply and highlight the achievements of your business, please head straight to enter.

Please note: there is no self-entry for Individual of the Year or Rising Star categories. If you would like to nominate an individual for an award, please head straight to enter and complete a short entry form on their behalf.

• You are giving your personal data to VisitScotland as the data controller for the purpose of nominating a business or event to take part in the Scottish Thistle Awards 2025.
• This nomination form will collect your IP Address. 
• Your personal data will be processed by EventsAir, a specialist system provider contracted to VisitScotland as the data controller. 
• Your personal data will remain within the EEA. 
• Your personal data will be held on this system for five weeks following the conclusion of the nominations process.  It will then be securely deleted. 
• The lawful reason for processing your information to submit a nomination is that it is a task carried out using the official authority vested in VisitScotland, specifically the promotion of Scottish Tourism.
