This free event is held on Tuesday, 14 April, 10.00-17.00 at Scottish Event Campus (SEC), Glasgow.

The VisitScotland Travel Distribution Seminar 2026 provides Scottish tourism experiences with an opportunity to discover the landscape of travel distribution in a global marketplace, learn about different routes to market, online booking systems, Online Travel Agents (OTAs) and how to create bookable tourism experiences for the travel trade. The event is aimed towards those who are new to the concept of online booking systems and OTA distribution. Therefore, it is not suitable for businesses already using (and happy with) an online booking system.

The seminar-style event format includes a series of presentations for businesses to attend, followed by an afternoon session with 1:1 appointments with travel-tech suppliers (online booking systems and OTAs) and travel trade.  You will be sent your schedule of appointments nearer to the time of the workshop.     

The workshop is open to businesses from across Scotland, but due to its location best suited for those based in the central belt.  Please note travel expenses and overnight accommodation are not covered by VisitScotland. 

Please note there is no charge to attend the VisitScotland Travel Distribution Seminar 2026, but the event is ticketed. Only pre-approved suppliers will be allowed entry to the venue. Spaces at the event are limited. If demand exceeds supply a waitlist will be opened. 

Please make sure you complete all the fields in the registration form and submit your application to attend the event at the end of the registration process. Please do not close the window until your application has been submitted.

Supplier Registration

Please use this page to review your entry before applying to attend the VisitScotland Travel Distribution Day. All applications are subject to approval by VisitScotland.

Upon successful application, Contact and Company Type fields with the exception of "Your Email Address" will be published in the Digital Event Programme.

Summary

Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions set out the terms and conditions on which VisitScotland provides a place/ticket for an event. 

Please note there is no charge to attend the VisitScotland Travel Distribution Seminar 2026, but the event is ticketed. Only pre-approved Suppliers will be allowed entry to the venue. 

Data Protection

We will use the personal data provided by you in this form to:

  • Contact you to let you know if your application for a space at the VisitScotland Travel Distribution Seminar 2026, has been successful or unsuccessful.
  • If you are successful to:
    • Register you for the VisitScotland Travel Distribution Seminar 2026, which includes setting up your Supplier account.
    • Contact you about the event.
    • Distribute contact details as marked (in this registration form) with an asterix in the Event Programme.    
    • Send you a post event survey to seek your feedback on the event and for event evaluation purposes.

Notice

  • You are giving your personal data to VisitScotland as the data controller, for the purpose of registering and administering your possible attendance at VisitScotland Travel Distribution Seminar 2026.  This will include publishing your contact details (first name, last name, company name, business address, job title, website and email address) in the event programme and and communicating with you about opportunities offered to the Scottish tourism industry. If we want to use the information you provide for a different purpose we will inform you before doing so. 
  • You are also being asked to provide your name, email address and select your own password for registration setup.  You will also be asked to provide any information you think we should know about in terms of dietary or access requirements during the event.
  • If you do not provide the information requested we will not be able to fully administer your registration. 
  • Your personal data will be processed using specialist system providers contracted to VisitScotland: Microsoft and Centium. 
  • Your personal data will be held for one year and will then be securely deleted.  Dietary and access requirement data will be deleted one month after the conclusion of the event. 
  • The lawful reason for processing your information is that it is necessary steps to enter into a contract between us to register and administer your attendance. We will use your name and email address to send you a post event survey to seek your feedback on the event and for event evaluation purposes. We will also use the same details to send you relevant information about tourism opportunities in Scotland based on your consent and preferences. 
  • Your personal data will be processed in the UK and within the EEA.
