Riddell Graham, Director of Industry and Destination Development, VisitScotland

I am responsible for leading a team of over 300 staff that deliver services, advice and support to three distinct customers. My team provides information to 2 million visitors annually through our network of 26 iCentres, operates our quality assurance star rating schemes and engages with national and local stakeholders. I also have responsibility for leading the organisation’s responsible and inclusive tourism activity.

I have a BSc in Ecological Science.

My early career was in public transport and countryside access until I started working in tourism in 1978 as assistant tourist officer with Scottish Borders Council and then as Chief Executive of Scottish Borders Tourist Board. I have been a Director with VisitScotland since 2005.
