Famtastic Awards

Designed to recognise amazing agents and super suppliers, the Famtastic Awards are back for 2025.  With a simple, free entry process, transparent judging policy and the appointment of some amazing industry individuals on board, this is a great way to get your venue/company in front of a relevant and receptive audience.  Famtastic is all about engagement and making new connections and enhancing existing contacts.  VisitScotland is delighted to be a category sponsor this year, and we are able to extend the invite to a select number of partners to join us and co-host tables at the awards with UK based buyers.  Successful hosting partners will also be invited to join the judging panel of the Agency entries and have the opportunity to join the speed-networking element prior to the Awards evening.

Who should consider attending?

This event is perfectly suited to DMOs, Independent Venues, Regional Resorts and Scottish based suppliers looking to target the UK market and meet a variety of Agencies from Independents to small/medium.

Who will you meet?

You will meet UK based small to medium sized agencies as well as independents.

VisitScotland stand attendance includes:

•    Enhanced attendance which would include a free space at the afternoon speed-networking.
•    Co-hosting a table of 10 with a fellow Scottish partner and 8 agents.
•    Opportunity to invite your own buyers to attend the event complimentary.
•    Numerous networking opportunities throughout the afternoon and evening.
•    Joining the judging panel for the Agency categories.
•    Pre-show marketing and sales support by VisitScotland and Famtastic.
•    Free to enter submission to various award categories for your venue/company to be visible and shortlisted.
•    Discounted Rail Tickets from Avanti West Coast, TransPennine Express, Northern Trains via Famtastic.
•    Discounted Accommodation rates for the Saturday evening via Famtastic.
Please note: Partners are required to share topline information regarding enquiries received during and post-event.

Cost:

£450 + VAT. Please note this cost excludes travel and accommodation. Spaces are strictly limited for all opportunities. VisitScotland needs to ensure that the mix of suppliers meets the need of the buyers and therefore reserves the right to make the final selection.

In the event of oversubscription, selection criteria may include:

•    Event registration received within the deadline period.
•    Regional spread of partners – opportunity for partners across Scotland to be represented.
•    Appropriate split of partners suitable for the event: such as across hotels, venues, and DMOs.
•    Suitability of the partner’s business to effectively deliver requirements of the Business Events sector targeted at the event.
•    Previous opportunities to participate. 

Registering your interest does not commit you to attend at this stage, please note that if you are subsequently offered a space and cannot confirm your attendance, your space may be forfeited and offered to those on the waiting list.

Like other public bodies, at this stage it is unclear what our budgetary position will be for the financial year 25/26. We invite you to register your interest for IMEX America 2025, with the caveat that VisitScotland attendance will not be confirmed until the end of April 2025. Current costs given are to the best of our knowledge. As events are contracted, VisitScotland reserves the right to amend if required.
