You are giving your personal data to VisitScotland as the data controller, for the purpose of registering to attend our Business Essentials Bitesize Webinars and for us to send you follow up communications including a feedback form. If we want to use the information you provide for a different purpose we will inform you before doing so.
You are being asked to provide your name, email address, organisation name and business address. The session may be recorded; Your name, photo, video image and audio will be recorded unless you choose to join the session without video or audio. If you do not join with video, your name or initials will still form part of the recording. Your name will also be visible if you ask a question using the webchat functionality. If you do not wish to be recorded at all, please do not join the session. You will be able to view the recording of the session. Once the session is over, the recording will be stored and may be kept beyond your employment with VisitScotland.

Your personal data will be processed by specialist systems contracted as data processors to VisitScotland as the data controller. For this event these are: Microsoft, Bloomreach, Canto and EventsAir.
If you have an existing relationship with VisitScotland your personal data will be used to update our records which will be anonymised at the end of your relationship with us. If you have no existing relationship with VisitScotland your personal data will be held for three months following the event and then securely deleted.
The lawful reason for processing your information is contract.
If you choose to share your contact details with other attendees, the lawful reason is consent.
The special category data exemption which permits VisitScotland to process appropriate dietary or access information for this event is based on your explicit consent.
